Web Designer Employment

Since I have free time on my hands sometimes, I've decided to be open for "hire". I only take specific amounts of a certain job. Non-commercial work is free, while commercial work payment will be negotiable.

Website Maintenance
Description: A long-term coding job. You give me the information, and I put it on your site. Maintenance is making new pages, making sure everything works, and that it is viewable in common browsers and resolutions. It may, in addition, be creating new layouts, making sure certain visitor needs are met, and other things.

Message Board Operator
Description: Co-administration of a message board. Rather than teaching you how to do things, I do most of it for you. I can be a maintenance operator for it, where I only do what you have trouble with, if possible; or I could be a full adminstrator, where I make the boards and important threads, keep the member list clean (deleting any spam members), and such similar things. Custom layouts may also be part of the job. I am most proficient with proboards, as it is generally easier, but I can do well with others once I familiarize myself with them.

Premade Graphics Designer
Description: Making neutral (nameless) graphics for use. For non-commercial sites, like, Aethereality, it would be making the linkware layouts and graphics. For a commerical site, like Banks Designs, I would be making more graphics for the Premades section, of which my profit for my created graphics will be negotiated.

Graphics Request Designer
Description: I create graphics that are requested by customers. For non-commercial websites, it would possibly be something like Demented Visions (although have a portion of a staff page would be just as good as having a minisite.), where visitors see what the creators can do, and request a graphic. For commercial sites, it would be similar, but we will have to negotiate profits made from my work.

Total Job Openings
While each job has it's own job limit, I can't possibly the total amount of jobs, so I also have a current job limit of three non-commercial jobs, and one commercial job.

Hiring Me

For now, if you would like to hire me for one of the jobs above, just email me at a.mitchell.email@gmail.com with your name, your site and/or business, whether the job is commercial or non-commercial*, details on what my job will be, and how long you would like me to work for you**.

*Remember that you are requesting me for hire. Commercial consists of anything that costs money. Non-commercial has usually linkware or freeware items. If yours has both, consider the main purpose, as well as the job you are giving me before you decide, or just let me know that you are unsure of what to call it. I would be more willing to work with an honest employer.

** Work can be asked as a temporary or permanent job. For temporary jobs (such as a replacement if someone is going on vacation), give me an idea of how long I should work for you. Temporary work can only be for up to three months. Temporary work for commercial websites will usually be a one-time, slightly more expensive fee for the whole time, unless otherwise agreed upon (usually for things like the Graphics Request Designer, I will either set a certain limit to my work, or instead of a one-time fee, we will have a fee for quota, such as paying me $10 for every three layouts. Permanent jobs will be actual hiring. I will be a full member of your staff. Payment will be in increments, whether for a quota or a timeline. Termination of this employment should be for good reason only. I am usually easy to work with, so if termination is with good reason, I will respectfully end our business. If termination is without good reason, I will inquire about it, or reply with how I feel. Depending on how you respond, I may leave with respectfully and accept partial payment, or expect full payment and/or personally blacklist you (EX: we had decided on the $10 for five layouts. You've decided to terminate the permenant employment because an ex-staff member wants to come back a week after I was hired. We could not come to a respectful agreement. I will request the full $10, even if I have only made two layouts.
